Thank you, Todd, for posting the Tulsa World links on Jason and his journey. Not living in the area anymore, I otherwise would not have been able to read it.
What an amazing person....how equally heartbreaking and touching those pictures are. God bless him.

Jason and I share the same birthday, my aunt introduced us when we were kids long before I moved to Okla.
He was a great guy, he is missed by many, myself included.

Just saw this news. Tood the short cut to the Tulsa World has expired could there be a repost? I would like to read the stories. Sorry to hear of this loss.
God Bless.

It looks like the Tulsa World moved the links and added some to a special page set up just for him and his story:

I only just read this post and I cried as i read the articles about Jason. I remember him most in Mr. Wieble's band class at Haskell MS--he played the trombone I am pretty sure. I spent most of my time in the hall so my recollection is fuzzy.
I need to check this site more often-I am sad I missed this news--and sad I have been missing some of the great updates. Will be checking in more often.
Oddly enough I thought of Jason when a new guy started teaching at my school whose name was craig brown--and those 2 were great friends--I think Craig played the Sax.
God bless Jason's family--and best wishes to all of you and your families.

Jason was my best friend during my junior year
(his senior year). He was the most creative guy
I've ever met, and I was honored to know him.
I even got to be in his wedding many years ago.
His son Grey is just like him, and will grow up to
do great things.
One of the hardest things I've ever done is sit
through his funeral. He was a great guy, and he
showed amazing bravery during his last days.
You're missed, Jason.

I did not know Jason.. I did look up his picture and he looks familiar. I wish I had known him. From some of the postings above it sounds like he was an amazing person. It sounds like he left behind a wonderful legacy to his son...
May he rest in peace!!!
I am able to open the links; however unable to find the story. PLEASE HELP!!!
